9th International Staff Week invitation

  

We are pleased to invite you to the 9th International Staff Week of the University of Almeria (Spain). It will be organised 16-20 April 2018. Both teaching and non-teaching staff are welcome. The programme of the week will consist of common programme and networking opportunities for all participants as well as classes for teaching staff and workshops/sessions for non-teaching staff. Also cultural excursions and extra activities will be offered to the participants.

1st International Days at The Ecole Nationale d’Ingénieurs de Tarbes, ENIT


The Ecole Nationale d’Ingénieurs de Tarbes, ENIT, is pleased to announce its 1st International Days taking place on May 17 & 18, 2018.

The two-day programme will provide opportunities for networking, sharing knowledge and experience with colleagues from partner institutions and promoting your school to our students during our other event on May 17, the “2nd International Mobility Fair”.

Moreover, our wish is to give the participants an insight into Southwest culture and gastronomy and a chance to visit an outstanding place in the area.

Please pass this invitation on to other relevant persons in your institution (administrative/teaching staff and Head of International Relations) and help us advertise the event!

Attached you will find the Preliminary Programme. The official language of the International Days is English.

Participation is free of charge. Hotel and travelling costs remain at your own expenses.

Please note that we will accept no more than 30 guests, and preferably no more than two participants from each university. 

Since the number of participants will be limited we recommend the interested candidates to fill in the registration form and submit it at staffmobility@enit.fr by February 10, 2018 at the latest.

Once your registration confirmed by our institution, you will get a more detailed programme as well as transportation and hotel booking information.

The Laurea International Week 2018 - "Going global in the digital era"

The Laurea are continuing their tradition of international weeks with yet another exiting event next spring. Feel invited to save the date in your calendars already!

 

The Laurea International Week 2018 will be organised 16-20 April 2018 on the campuses of Leppävaara and Otaniemi in the city of Espoo, Finland. The theme of the week will be "Going global in the digital era".

 

Both teaching and non-teaching staff are welcome to participate on the week. The programme of the week will consist of common programme and networking opportunities for all participants as well as classes for teaching staff and workshops/sessions for non-teaching staff. Also cultural excursions will be offered to the participants of the international week.

International Week of the School of Technology 2018 between 7-9 March 2018 - Save the date!





An Invitation to the International Week of the School of Technology 2018 between 7-9 March 2018 at our Visamäki Campus in Hämeenlinna. Save the date!

During the week, there will be workshops where we will focus on the new technologies in the fields of society and education and we will also have a look at engineers as language users in a professional context.

You will also gain an insight into the School of Technology at Häme University of Applied Sciences. You will meet with our staff and students and choose which of our three technology oriented campuses you want to visit. This is also a great opportunity for you to meet and get to know other international partners, which are participating in the event.

International Week in St. Pölten from 21-23 November 2016

 

The department of “Media and Economics” is pleased to announce its 4th International week taking place at St. Pölten University of Applied Sciences, Austria, from 21-23 November 2016.

Professors and lecturers from our partner universities are invited to join and teach during the International Week. Professors are welcome to bring students (maximum of 4 per university).

Topic: “Overview of the Media Landscape”

Some examples from prior International Weeks:

  •  The Media Landscape in Finland
  •  Overview of the Spanish Media Landscape
  •  Scandinavian Media Landscape
  •  The importance of Flanders TV in the Advertising Market

Every lecturer is expected to teach in English a total of 8 academic hours of 45 minutes each. The presentation of the media landscape will have a length of 90 minutes and will be presented 4 times to 4 different groups of students.

Participants are advised to arrive on Sun, 20 November 2016 and depart on Thursday, 24 November 2016.
