Multimedia Producer – versatile training for a dynamic field of work

"Do something with media" - means acquiring knowledge from many different areas and linking it again and again.

Working creatively and imaginatively, staying up to date, recognising new media trends and at the same time observing technical and economic restrictions are challenges that "Multimedia Producers" face anew every day. The theoretical and practical knowledge for these tasks is taught in the Multimedia Production course at the Kiel University of Applied Sciences. In seven semesters, the degree courses teach the contents of fields such as design, computer science, media theory, media technology, journalism, media science, media economics and media conception.

The knowledge acquired is directly implemented in projects within the media industry or other cooperation partners. Modern media laboratories are available for practical work. The manageable size of the course of study enables each student not only to have a productive working situation, but also to communicate very well with professors and lecturers from the business world.

The spectrum of future career opportunities is as broad and varied as the course itself. Not only in multimedia production companies, but also in the advertising industry as well as in the press and public relations departments of large companies, associations or authorities, "Multimedia Producers" with their diverse, well networked skills are in demand.
