LINAVO stands "Open Universities in Schleswig-Holstein: Lernen Im Netz, Aufstieg Vor Ort (Learning in the Net – Advancement On Site)‘. The project was completed on the 30.09.2017. One of the greatest tasks of the LINAVO project was the development of didactic and technical innovative online study courses and complete online study degrees that could be completed with a laptop or a tablet computer in a timely manner and were locally flexible. The new programmes were designed in such a way that e.g. professionals could integrate them into their daily lives.
After the successful completion of the first project phase, the University of Applied Sciences of Kiel, Lübeck and the Westküste (Heide) and the Flensburg University went into a second project phase from the 1st April 2015 until the 30th September 2017. During that phase, the joint universities developed four online study programmes:
- Regulatory Affairs in Medical Technology (Master’s degree)
- Construction Management (Master’s Degree)
- Educational Science with the focus on Training, Human Resources development and Education Management (Master’s degree)
- Regenerative Energies (Bachelor’s degree)
A selection of newly developed online modules was offered for free in the summer semester of 2017 within a test phase.
