Module 3D Printing - Additive Manufacturing

The module is limited to a maximum number of 12 students (2 exercise groups).
You will get a password in advance of the lecture, to sign up in the LMS system.
Please select your exercise group in the LMS course.
The lecture is starting in the first full week after the examination period.

- Laser Sintering of Plastics (SLS)
- Fused Deposition Modelling (FDM)
- Stereolithography (SLA) and other photopolymer-based generative production processes
- Subsequent Processes: vacuum casting, investment casting
- Metal Laser-Melting Systems (SLM)
- Construction for generative production processes
- Quality Management in the area of generative production processes
- Complementary 3D Scanner Systems
- Environmental Protection and Occupational Safety
We will clarify the application area and current status of research and development of marketable processes of generative manufacturing. You will learn about process-specific requirements and constructive guidelines for component production.
