Studying at the Institute of Civil Engineering
The Institute of Civil Engineering founded at the end of 2017 by the Faculty of Media is the main insitution for the bachelor’s degrees in “Civil Engineering” and “Civil Engineering - industry accompanied”.
The organisation of the lectures, staff administration and representation of the subject Civil Engineering are the responsibility of the institute.

The official start of the semester for bachelor students of 'Civil Engineering' for the winter semester 2020/21 is 01 September 2020.
Due to the restrictions caused by the corona pandemic, the application deadlines and the start of lectures have been postponed.
The Institute of Civil Engineering starts in the 40th calendar week with courses for all first semesters. In addition to an official welcome on 28.09.2020, a tour of the campus, a preliminary course in mathematics, an introduction to networking and much more will be offered. Further information - especially whether these courses are offered in attendance or online - can be found here in good time before the start of the winter semester.
