Four semesters (2 years) full-time.

The "Master of Science in Information Engineering" course will operate under a student workload model based on 60 credit points (ECTS) for a full-time academic year. To qualify for the award the student must complete, or have been granted exemption for, the subjects listed below.

During the four semesters of the master's program the students are taken through a highly structured curriculum:

Semester 1 & 2
Six modules have to be selected each semester for a full load, corresponding to a total workload of 30 credit points. 2 modules are compulsory modules and 4 are specialisation modules.

Semester 3
Part 1:

Required Master Research Project, workload 15 credit points
Part 2:
Three (additional) modules have to be selected, corresponding to a total workload of 15 credit points.

Semester 4
Final Project (Master Thesis):

The final Thesis can be carried out in collaboration with an industry firm or a research lab and has to be completed in not more than six months.

Thesis Defense (Colloquium).
