Master’s degree in Business Management (non-consecutive)

The master’s degree in Business Management is for those students who graduated from a non-business bachelor’s degree and want to expand their knowledge with business skills. During the study, students are taught a solid business knowledge at a master’s level in a short period of time to amend the specific expertise from their bachelor study.

The Business Management degree for non-economists or non-business graduates prepares graduates to take on challenging tasks in private and public companies. Besides the work for industrial and trading companies, there are also various fields of application in service companies.
Many classic business subjects are offered. So, the course schedule includes lectures on investment and finance, tax and business law, marketing, economics and controlling.

The study programme is updated regularly to adapt to the requirements of the professional work environment. To prepare students to take on managerial tasks, the study not only teaches expertise but methodological and social competencies, confidence and decisiveness. The lecturers attach great importance to deepening the students’ knowledge in corporate management and supporting the working in projects. The students learn in small groups and are optimally supervised by the lecturers.

Prospective students can apply in the summer or winter semester. After four semesters, students finish their study with a ‘Master of Arts’.

The UAS Kiel system is accredited by AQ Austria.
