German-French Degree Programme

First German-French Degree Programme at the UAS Kiel and the Université de Savoie

The University of Applied Sciences (UAS) Kiel is the first university in northern Germany to set up an integrated Business Management Bachelor’s degree under the umbrella of the German-French University. Together with its partner university, Université de Savoie in Annecy, France, the UAS Kiel receives €18,000 external funding per annum. Worldwide, the German-French University is the only one of its kind that promotes international study programmes at the highest level.

What make this German-French study programme at the UAS so special is that five German and five French students study together in a closed group at the partner universities in Annecy and Kiel. During their studies, they each receive a monthly scholarship of €270 from the German-French University. The first students started studying in 2014 and, after three years, successfully completed their degrees and received a diploma from both partner universities.

During the complex evaluation procedure, Agnès Moiroux, Centre for Languages and Intercultural Studies, and Professor Matthias Dressler, Faculty of Business Management, found their many years of experience in German-French exchange programmes for students extremely useful.
