Guest students who join several courses are requested to file an application and meet the following conditions:
- At least a Diploma from secondary school or
- A certificate that confirms the successful graduation from the 10th grade level at a German high school
- A comparable qualification

Guest students are not able to attend exams. They don’t get a student status at campus and neither have to pay semester fees.
As visiting students, people who are enrolled at other Universities can attend courses and take study-related exams. It is necessary to file an application before.
Exams, presentations or other tests can be rendered for the home university (no final examinations). Study fees won’t be raised. A fee of 10 euros has to be paid at the enrollment. The application is effective for one semester.

Guest students and visiting students also need the approval of the Dean’s Office of the concerned faculty. The approval mustn’t cause any disadvantages for regular students of Kiel University of Applied Sciences.
Application forms for guest or visiting studies need to be submitted in written form until the 15.01 (summer term) and 15.07 (winter term) to the Student Registration Office. The requested certificates need to be presented along with the application form.
