Faculty of Media

  • Bachelor’s degree of Arts in Multimedia Production

Graduates from the course Multimedia Production are bound for careers in the development, design and marketing of multimedia applications, e. g. videos, internet projects and computer training programmes. Students are involved from the initial concept right the way through to the delivery of the product to the customer. Specializing in any of the discrete areas of multimedia production is also possible. Together with the customer, students design exposés, decide on plans of action and examine the technical and financial feasibility of each project. The course Multimedia Production is accredited by ZEVA.

Multimedia producers combine creativity and imagination with technical know-how in the creation of their products. The work is usually carried out in a team, comprising specialists from other media branches. The Multimedia Production degree course is interdisciplinary comprising such areas as design, information communications technology, journalism, communications, media engineering, economics and law. Students gain an in-depth knowledge of selected areas; they also gain a practical, hands-on insight into the subjects through projects, and also through working in concert together with media specialists and industry.

Students are awarded a Bachelor’s degree of Arts in Multimedia Production after successfully completing six semesters and can continue to study for a further four semesters to gain their Master’s. Both degrees are internationally recognised, meaning that students can be more flexible when organising their studies.
