Sponsoring

The famous ‘gap’ between wish and reality is a common daily observation. Equally obvious should be the fact that solving this situation has to be a matter of the heart for everyone affected.

We want to (hopefully) implement the addressed matters of the IVE degree – framework conditions, topics and employment prospects – with the help of our ‘Sponsorship Project’.

The chosen direction should be clarified with the following extract from Wikipedia:
‘A sponsorship describes the voluntary acquisition of a duty of care. A sponsorship is different from a partnership because not both participants have the same rights and duties, but it is a one-sided care job.’

At the moment we are – with your help, the sponsors - trying to realise the following sponsorship projects.

That we are open for other suggestions to arrange the concrete design of our thoughts probably does not require explicit emphasis!

Due to the so-called ‘Employability’, IVE students are asked to voluntarily check parts of their language skills by internationally acknowledged tests. The resulting costs (+/- 150 € per test) are a heavy financial burden for some students. Considering the high importance of these tests for the professional career of our graduates, we are convinced that this barrier must be remedied – also in the interest of future employers. We are currently having intensive discussions with potential partners who are willing to help us solve this problem!

That this kind of engagement will receive adequate appreciation – for example in the sponsor gallery of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering of the UAS Kiel - is self-evident!
