The Faculty of Business Management is active via various institutions in research and in the transfer of knowledge gained into practice. ​

• R&D Centre UAS Kiel: 
  The Research and Development Centre (FuE), located on the campus of the Kiel University of Applied Sciences, sees itself as a link between business and science. The aim is to bring scientific know-how together with entrepreneurial research and development needs. The FuE-Zentrum FH Kiel GmbH is an independent company managed according to private-sector aspects. Order-related projects are carried out that are based on specific tasks or challenges of the respective customer. For this purpose, the R&D center uses the facilities of the Kiel University of Applied Sciences as part of the cooperation with the university.
