Enabling academic success through flexible skills development and teaching/learning scenarios

Icon Digital Transformation
Icon Social participation

Brief description

The H³ project aims to rethink teaching and learning scenarios in the direction of hybrid-flexible variants, develop personalized, digitally supported learning paths, focus on the development of students' skills, use technical innovations and thus contribute to greater academic success. We face the following challenges:

  • The participation of working students in face-to-face modules is not (always) guaranteed due to work, family, personal or structural contexts.
  • Studies cannot always meet the need for opportunities for exchange and interaction (especially during self-study phases).
  • Students often have problems organizing their self-study and managing individual learning processes in a focused manner.

We address this by making our social work degree programmes more flexible: through hybrid teaching/learning opportunities, the use of innovative technologies and e-coaching and e-assessment tools for self-directed skills development. Our many years of experience in online teaching, combined with multi-stage evaluation procedures, guarantee the quality of our work, which has an impact far beyond the project environment through the establishment of transfer processes. A comprehensive and comparative effectiveness analysis is part of the overall project.
