Welcome to our Summer School! 

Moin, we are looking forward to offering our first Summer School in summer 2026.

The motto is “Future Media Makers - Digital Communication & Conent Creation”.

In a variety of modules, the Summer School focuses on the world of media nowadays as well as a potential outlook onto the future. Creating, cutting and producing your own content will be the main aspect whether it be in short formats like TikTok, a radio show or an episode on TV. You will gain practical insights into professional media production and discover how to craft high-quality content now and in the future. 

A small business component will also explore how to turn your media projects into successful ventures in an intercultural world. 

Overall, you'll develop your creativity, future-oriented thinking, and entrepreneurial skills - perfect for bringing your media ideas to life and shaping the media landscape of tomorrow!

Come on board and experience Germany and Kiel during the most beautiful season of the year! Our Summer School is aimed at students from all fields connected to Media studies and offers insights into all facets of the media landscape. 

The duration of the Summer School is two weeks. The Summer School will be taught in English. 

For both options, students receive 5 credit points.
