Every year in the summer semester, a new team of 30 students sets sail to explore topics relevant to the future such as transport, climate, energy and digitalisation. Their journey centres on technological and social upheavals and their impact on our lives.

In various interdisciplinary teams, this content is analysed, discussed and reflected on at the Kiel University of Applied Sciences campus and on the high seas in the western Baltic region on board a traditional sailing ship. On board, it quickly becomes clear that complex, interdisciplinary tasks can only be mastered in strong teams with good communication.
After about a week on board, the projects are finalised during the regular lecture period and finally presented to the entire team.

The result will be awarded with 5 interdisciplinary credits.
