In addition to the preparatory college and university, there are other ways to find a professional future in Germany. Dual vocational training is another way to live and work in Germany in the long term.

Dual training means: Earning your own money from day one. Not just theory, but lots of practice. An easier career start because you are already working in a company and don't have to look for a company and apply for a job after graduating. You are much more flexible in when and how you apply. The German training system is internationally recognised.

You can make a career with a dual training programme just as easily as with a degree course and usually earn just as much. If you do further training after your apprenticeship, you can get a Bachelor's or Master's degree, see here.
