Tutorials:

Digital oscilloscope, measuring with the probe, high-pass filter, low-pass filter, band filter, application of amplitude responses, emitter amplifier, transistor capacities, transistor as a switch, operational amplifier, NF power amplifier

 

Objectives:

The students discover important electronic components and basic circuits and practice the calculation of circuits manually and with the help of a design software. Different breadboard circuits with transistors and operational amplifiers are installed and the signals are metrologically collected at the laboratory.

 

Electric engineering 2:

Theory and realisation of the systems and functions listed below, examples with usual IC’s. filter circuits: active filters with operational amplifiers, switched-capacitor-filter, quartz filter. Oscillators: feedback, stability, different oscillator realisations, amplitude control, quartz oscillator, voltage-controlled oscillators.

  • Comparators, Schmitt trigger.
  • Power amplifier.
  • Narrowband amplifier.
  • Multiplier, mixer.
  • Circuit technology of modulators and demodulators for AM and FM.
