Supervision of Bachelor’s and Master’s Theses

As first advisor, I supervise theses that work on issues in the fields of social work:

  • Professionalisation and self-conception social work
    •  (for example reconstruction of subjective views of recipients; acquisition of action competences; personnel development…)
  • Youth aid/Family assistance or elderly care
    •  (for example parental work and aid for education; consultation in SPFH; help and control; child protection; dementia and early dementia; effect of social help...)
  • Digitisation processes
    • (digital transformation in social work; robotics in elderly care; development processes of social organisation..)
  • Gender
    •  (domestic violence; sexualised violence; female role in profession and/or family,
  • other topics are possible.

 

I am mainly interested in theses that work on a contribution to the professionalisation of social work and a professional profile.

Following this, you should submit:

3. Exposé and coarse arrangement of the thesis before registration with the Examinations Office

Parts of the exposé are to justify the question; explain the topic; What do I want to know/ find out? Why is this question relevant? What topics are processed to answer the question? Show the line of argument of the thesis.

4. Submitting separate chapters of your bachelor’s/master’s thesis by arrangement and need.
