Journey To A Billion Suns

Distances in space were totally unknown for ages, and our Milky Way has remained a real mystery. Today satellites can measure the distances to the stars and make us understand the structure and size of our home galaxy. But how did technology come so far?

Journey to a Billion Suns tells this exciting, untold story of mapping the stars. It compiles ancient history with scientific evolution and thrilling moments of an almost failed space mission. It takes you on a fascinating journey through the Milky Way with all its stars, nebulae and multiple features.

Journey to a Billion Suns is a breath taking adventure, linked to the European Gaia mission, launched in December 2013. Starting in 2014 in 30 planetariums, the audience and the media celebrated the show as “simply phenomenal”, “better than cinema” and “spectacular show”.
