Prof. Quell holds the professorship for renewable offshore energies and wind energy engineering. The focus of his teaching at the Department of Mechanical Engineering at Kiel University of Applied Sciences is offshore wind energy technology, wind energy in general, climate change and climate protection, drive technology, technical project management and business development. In addition to his activities at Kiel University of Applied Sciences, Prof. Quell also teaches in Flensburg as part of the master's degree program in Wind Energy Engineering, which is run jointly with Flensburg University of Applied Sciences.
