Technically oriented management project (Master’s in Industrial Engineering)

Management projects are a substantial part of the master’s degree in Industrial Engineering (before: MA Technical Business Management). In cooperation with companies, students get to solve concrete business problems. This results in a visible deepening of professional and methodical competence. Due to the project organisation, the necessary teamwork and the close interlinking with professional practice, there is also a visible increase in social and personal competence. In the assisted projects for various companies in Schleswig-Holstein, the following problems have been solved:

• Conduct of various value analyses (following VDI 2800)
• Development of a business model for the refurbishing of medical technological products
• Development of an indicator system for the controlling of the company
• Optimisation of the internal accounting
• Optimisation of a costing procedure and development of a training concept
• Efficient personnel deployment planning through a user-friendly design of the task schedule instruments
• Development of a concept for a performance auditing
