Enrolment – informations for new students

Welcome to Kiel University of Applied Sciences!

Here you will find all the documents you need for enrolment at Kiel University of Applied Sciences. Furthermore, you’ll obtain initial information from your new faculty.

Please apply online before enrolment.

Enrolment for all departments must be made by post to the following addresses within the deadline specified in the letter of admission.

For enrolment, please put together all the documents requested in the checklist, print them, fill them in and send everything by post to the above addresses or drop it in the official university mailboxes at these addresses. Please pay particular attention to documents which have to be submitted in an officially certified form. We urge you to submit the documents as soon as possible, since this will facilitate further processing.

Please consider:

If there is no request to perform the enrolment until the determined date or the documents are incomplete or incorrect, the letter of admission becomes invalid. Therefore, entitlement to the university place becomes ineffective. The valid date of submission is the date of the receipt at the Kiel University of Applied Sciences. The date of the postmark does not apply!

Cancellation after enrolment

The enrolment can be cancelled within three weeks after the date of registration. A written request for cancellation and, if already issued, the temporary certificate of study, the chip card and your personal access data need to be sent by post to the Registration Office.

A refund of the enrolment fee is not possible after cancellation.
