J. Meyer developed software for fatigue calculation of dynamic loaded structures for the EU-funded research project RELIABLES Offshore.

Dr. Meyer was awarded a doctor´s degree by Christian-Albrechts-Universität zu Kiel (CAU) for his research on Free-surface simulations with consideration of moving objects, sea waves and scour based on the Reynolds-averaged Navier-Stokes equations. His supervisors were Prof. Dr. Thomas Slawik (CAU) and Prof. Dr.-Ing. Kai Graf (Fachhochschule Kiel).
