Qualification Goals

Graduates of the Master's degree program in Computer Science work on complex issues in applied computer science and manage processes to solve problems. They design IT systems and software applications on the basis of analyses that take company-specific IT infrastructures and market requirements into account.

Graduates of the planned Master's degree program in Computer Science have in-depth and application-oriented specialist knowledge and methodological skills to acquire, plan, manage and invoice IT projects. They acquire new knowledge and skills in their specialist field independently, working autonomously and under their own direction. They carry out research work independently. Graduates are also qualified to carry out applied research projects in companies or as part of a doctorate at a university.

With the "Artificial Intelligence" training line, students are able to analyze, design and develop complex cognitive systems. They are proficient in application development and operation as well as user support. Graduates of the specialization "Computer Science for Media" design and develop internet and hardware-related digital and media systems. They are able to derive and communicate instructions and proposed solutions, taking into account the technical requirements of computer-based media systems.
